Biography

Defender Sarah Jackson has been a consistent presence at the heart of the Derby County Women backline for several seasons.

The 2019 signing from Leicester City has impressed with her no-nonsense and consistent displays in the defence. Her excellent performances in her debut campaign saw Jackson named Player of the Season for the 2019/20 season.

Going into the 2024/25 season, Jackson had made over 100 appearances in Derby colours and had netted her first goal for the Ewes with a halfway-line strike in October 2023’s 5-1 FA Women's National League Plate Third Round win.
