Ryan Bartley

Central defender Ryan Bartley joined Derby County’s Under-21s in the summer of 2023.

Bartley linked up with the Rams after leaving Premier League side Crystal Palace at the end of his contract.

He featured for the Eagles at Under-18 level and also gained experience out on loan at National League South side Eastbourne Borough in the 2022/23 season.

Bartley played 12 times in Premier League 2 for the Under-21s in 2023/24, as well as racking up appearances in the Central League and Central League Cup, after recovering from an early-season injury.

He was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in December 2023. He scored twice in the 5-1 home win over Reading during the month and proved to be a real threat from the Rams’ set plays throughout the clash with the Royals.
