Talent ID Centre

The Talent ID Centre format will consist of a 12 week programme specifically designed to give talented footballers a chance to showcase their ability. This will be open to players from under 6s to under 11s.

We are passionate about giving talented local footballers the opportunity to showcase their abilities. With the help of our newly appointed coaches, we want to inspire players to progress through into our elite academy system. We want you to do this with a positive attitude and mindset.

We want both ambitious players and coaches who are driven to try and improve.

When taking part in the 12 week programme, we expect all players to be prepared to work hard while being honest and humble at all times. We want everybody to achieve their goals.

As a single football club city, we understand that we are the heartbeat of our community and so want young footballers within this community to have the chance to represent the club within the academy teams.

The centres are based in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Castle Vale.

We signed 5 players to the academy from the Talent ID Program in the 2023/2024 season which was a fantastic and successful achievement during the first season of the programme's existence.
