Accommodation Providers
Derby County Football Club are seeking to recruit Accommodation Providers in the local area for young adult professional football players (aged 16 to 21) who need to live away from home to undertake their training at our Academy. Lodgings should provide good quality accommodation in an area which provides a safe setting for the young players to live during their weekly training schedule.

Residential (over-night) accommodation would be required for the duration of the football season, typically July to May, and will require the provision of nutritional breakfasts and evening meals with occasional lunches.
Our Education, Safeguarding, Medical and Nutritional teams are readily available to support Accommodation Providers in their role, which includes training, advice and guidance where appropriate.

Derby County Football Club is committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all accommodation providers to share this commitment. This role involves work with young people/adults and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Criminal Records Check (CRC). Clearance through The FA DBS CRC system is required and will be required immediately and every three years thereafter for any resident in the accommodation aged 16 years and above. As such this post is exempt for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions. Two written references will also be required. Applicants will in addition need to demonstrate that the accommodation meets certain safety standards and all applicants will be required to undergo a full assessment with our Club staff before consideration can be made as to suitability.
