Derby County look forward to Good Friday football in the
Sky Bet Championship when they host Luton Town at Pride Park Stadium (12:30pm
kick-off).
John Eustace’s side have secured four wins and two draws in their previous seven matches in the Championship and come into the fixture with the Hatters off the back of a lively 2-2 draw at Portsmouth last Saturday.
The Rams sit in 21st place in the league with four games to go and are three points ahead of opponents Luton, who sit 23rd with 10 wins and 10 draws from 42 games this campaign.
Matt Bloomfield took over as Hatters boss back in January, following the departure of Rob Edwards, after an impressive spell in charge of Wycombe Wanderers. Edwards had taken Luton to the Premier League two seasons ago, but relegation from the top-flight and a difficult start to the current season saw Bloomfield take the reins of the Bedfordshire outfit.
The Hatters enter their clash with the Rams having only lost twice in eight games - one of those defeats came last weekend against Blackburn Rovers as they lost 1-0 to the 10-man Lancashire side on home turf.
