Derby County will host Sky Bet Championship league leaders Burnley under the
lights at Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday night
(7.45pm).
The Rams saw their impressive four-game winning run come to an end with a 1-0 loss against Swansea City on Saturday.
Chances for Craig Forsyth, Kayden Jackson and Kane Wilson saw Derby go near in the contest at the Swansea.com Stadium, but a late second-half goal from Swans attacker Ji-sung Eom consigned the Rams to their first loss in over a month.
John Eustace’s side will be looking to bounce back against Burnley and continue their positive record on home soil, having taken three wins and one draw from their last five league fixtures at Pride Park Stadium in league action.
Scott Parker’s Burnley will look to provide a tough challenge for the Rams. The Lancashire side are looking to bounce straight back up and win automatic promotion back to the Premier League after relegation from the top-flight last term - a feat they have managed the last three times they have been in the second tier.
And they have every chance of completing their objective once again this
time around. The Clarets entered the top spot in the Championship after a
2-1 win over Coventry City on Saturday - their 23rd win of the season.
They also have 15 draws to their name and have kept 28 clean sheets so
far this term. One of those shut-outs came against the Rams back in
December, when the points were shared in a goalless affair at Turf Moor.
