Marcus Harness’ outstanding recent displays have earned a nomination for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for March.

The versatile forward racked up four goal involvements in four games as John Eustace’s side won three consecutive games to end the month.

Harness - who has been playing in an advanced role alongside Jerry Yates in recent weeks - scored and recorded an assist in the 2-0 win over Coventry City at Pride Park Stadium, before scoring a late winner to complete his brace as Plymouth Argyle were beaten 3-2 at Home Park.

Striker Tyrese Campbell of Sheffield United, Luton Town’s midfielder Jordan Clark and Sheffield Wednesday defender Michael Ihiekwe are also on the shortlist.

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
