Match-winner Marcus Harness praised the Derby County squad’s hard work and resilience as his winning goal saw the side take maximum points in a 3-2 success at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams secured their third win in a row in the Sky Bet Championship with Harrison Armstrong’s first senior goal coming in between Harness’ brace - meaning the versatile player has scored three goals in his last two matches.

After taking a 2-0 lead in the first half, Derby were pegged back either side of half-time through Mustapha Bundu’s free-kick and an own goal from Nat Phillips.

However, Harness’ 88th minute strike saw Derby claim a vital victory at Home Park and he spoke to RamsTV after bagging the vital winning goal against Argyle.

On a big win on the road…

It's a great way to cap off an amazing week. Three wins in a row in this league is really not easy work. Even the teams that will be right up the top of the league, there's only one or two that will probably do three wins in a row. It's a great accomplishment and we're just happy to have turned the tide and we'll look to build on it next time out.

I just think how dangerous we were. We're disappointed with the goals we conceded, as scoring three goals away from home should see you winning comfortably.

On the determination to bounce back and win…

It shows how far our confidence has come and the belief in what we're doing - because earlier in the season a goal against us would have knocked the wind out of our sails. I feel like we were quietly confident, even at 2-2, that we'd get another chance - and we'd do our best to not give anything away.

On hitting a strong vein of form and the support of the fans…

I feel like I'm getting into positions where I can show what I can do. The season hasn't gone as I'd hoped, overall, but it's exciting and I'm glad we are finally turning it around. The crowd have been amazing. In the last couple of months, they haven't had a lot to cheer about but they've travelled in numbers and been in fine voice every week. We really appreciate it, and it really makes a difference, especially today at 2-2 when our backs were against the wall. It makes a massive difference.
