WOMEN NEWS: Postponed Halifax Home Fixture Moved To March

The date for Derby County Women’s rearranged FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division home clash with Halifax has been confirmed.

The Ewes will play Halifax on Sunday 2nd March 2025 (2pm kick-off) at the Don Amott Arena.

The league clash, originally scheduled to take place on Sunday 12th January, was postponed due to a frozen pitchin Mickleover.

Sam Griffiths’ side have yet to play a competitive game in 2025 due to postponed fixtures at the start of the month but played a friendly against Leafield Ladies on Sunday 19th January in preparation for their next league fixture on Sunday.

Derby will next be in action against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the league on Sunday 26th January (2pm kick-off).
