The date for Derby County Women’s rescheduled FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division away clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers Women has been confirmed.

The game against title-chasing Wolves will now be played at New Buck Head on Sunday 26th January 2025 (2pm kick-off).

The fixture was due to be the Ewes’ only action of December, but adverse weather conditions saw the game called off on Sunday 1st December, with the pitch in Telford being judged unplayable by officials.

Head Coach Sam Griffiths’ Derby side sit seventh in the league at the midway point of the season, with four wins and two draws on the board in a competitive division. They will return to action in 2025 with an away trip to play West Bromwich Albion on Sunday 5th January.

Their next home game will come a week later, when the Ewes will welcome Halifax to the Don Amott Arena on Sunday 12th January (2pm kick-off).
