Centre-back Eiran Cashin says Derby County have the mentality to bounce back from their recent back-to-back home losses as they prepare to take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday (12.30pm kick-off).

Derby are looking to respond at the first time of asking after falling to a last minute 2-1 home defeat against Sheffield Wednesday last Sunday, having tasted defeat to Swansea City by the same scoreline a few days earlier.

The Rams will go head-to-head with Leeds at Elland Road for the first time in five years when they meet in the Sky Bet Championship's lunchtime kick-off.

Cashin sat down with RamsTV to discuss the clash in West Yorkshire.

On last Sunday's result against Sheffield Wednesday…

It was a tough one to take and the lads were frustrated a little bit, but it's gone now. I don't think you can dwell on it too much. We've watched it back, looked at what we can improve, and brushed that off now to get ready for Saturday. It was a rough week.

On the lessons learned from Sunday's defeat…

We have to take the chances when we're on top. These last few games, we've seen some of the best play all season. We've created a lot of chances, both from set-pieces and open play. We can be really dangerous in attack, but it's about taking those chances and using it when we're on top, and then seeing games out when we don't quite get the goal that we're after. There were a lot of positives to take.

On making the visit to Leeds…

If we don't do the right things, aren't organised and disciplined, then it'll be very tough. However, if we do the right things and play with confidence, stick to our structure and stick to the game plan, there's no reason why we can't get points out of it. We know there’s a tough month coming up in terms of fixtures, but we just need to ensure we're at it. We're driving standards and we're accountable for our jobs. If we do that, then we have more than enough to get wins
