Derby County Football Club are continuing to honour their rich 140-year history, with the opening of a dedicated exhibit space within Harrison’s Hub at Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday 3rd December.

The space will house numerous pieces of memorabilia from the Rams’ past, including artefacts, programmes, kits and much more.

The aim will be to showcase various points of the club’s history through a range exhibitions which will be changed throughout the season.

Beginning with a timeline, looking at the life of the club and all those associated with it from its very beginning in 1884, right through to today, the ‘Est. 1884’ exhibit will be on display until early 2025, before being updated to recognise the upcoming 50th anniversary of winning the First Division title in the 1974/75 season.

Derby County owner David Clowes said: “Anybody who knows me understands just how important the club’s heritage is to me. I’m passionate about ensuring the club’s history is available for generations to come.

“That’s why this project means so much. To have a dedicated space where we can exhibit so much of our history and make it accessible for everybody is essential in maintaining what makes this football club so great for so many people.”

Harrison’s Hub will also be home to Derby County’s Legacy Numbers, a chronological list of all players to have represented the Men’s First Team in a competitive fixture, which were released earlier this season.

The ‘Est. 1884’ exhibition will be officially launched on Tuesday 3rd December at a drop-in event for fans, running between 4pm and 7pm. Pre-registration is not required and free parking will be available on site.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to Andy Ellis, Club Historian, and Phil Lowe, of Rams Heritage Trust, for their ongoing support and commitment to the opening of this space within the stadium.
