Derby County Women goalkeeper Sarah Morgan cemented herself into the Ewes’ history books as she made her 200th appearance for the club last Sunday.

Morgan joined Derby in the 2012/13 season and has been a stalwart through many different eras and iterations of Ewes' squads.

She had spells at Coventry City Ladies, where she made her debut at the age of 15, and Birmingham City Reserves before linking up with Derby.

The 33-year-old was presented with a framed shirt by Chief Executive Officer Stephen Pearce and was recognised for her achievements ahead of kick-off against Leafield Athletic in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last Sunday.

Morgan was in between the sticks for both of the Ewes’ cup runs last season as they headed to the Fourth Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, bowing out to Women’s Super League side Leicester City.

She was vital as she kept a clean sheet when the Ewes swept to FA Women’s National League Plate success to lift a historic piece of silverware in April.
