Derby County Women’s final game of 2024 against Wolverhampton Wanderers Women has been rescheduled.
The Ewes will head on the road to New Bucks Head, in Telford, to face Wolves in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division on the revised date of Sunday 1st December (2pm kick-off).
The game, which was previously scheduled to take place midway through December, has now been rearranged after Wolves qualified for the next round of the Birmingham FA Challenge Cup last Sunday, with the next round to be played on the date of the original league fixture.
The two teams have already met in the league this season, with Wolves narrowly coming out on top in a competitive game at the Don Amott Arena in August.
The tie is the Ewes’ last competitive fixture of the calendar year, with Sam Griffiths’ side back in action when they face West Bromwich Albion Women away from home on Sunday 5th January 2025 (2pm kick-off).
Derby’s first home fixture of the new year will see the visit of Halifax Women on Sunday 12th January 2025 (2pm kick-off).
