Derby County will return to Pride Park Stadium on Saturday for their Sky Bet Championship clash with Plymouth Argyle (3pm kick-off).


The Rams will be looking to keep momentum on their side following a gritty 2-1 win over Coventry City on Wednesday night - which saw them take maximum points away from home for the first time this season.

Paul Warne’s charges will also be hoping to add to their healthy home points tally, after taking 13 points from a possible 18 in the Championship at Pride Park this season.

Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle side come into the fixture off the back of a 1-0 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Team News

Defender Eiran Cashin will be out of action on Saturday as he received his fifth yellow card of the season against Coventry City on Wednesday night, which sees him pick up a one-match suspension, while winger Corey Blackett-Taylor is available after recovering from a minor hamstring issue.


Midfielder Liam Thompson made his first league start of the season and striker Dajaune Brown madehis first league start for the Rams in the Championship against Coventry, with the duo both pushing to retain their places.


Kane Wilson returned to the fray as a 76th minute substitute against the Sky Blues after being ruled out last Saturday’s clash with Stoke City with a knee issue, but defender Callum Elder has a groin problem which he sustained in the first half at Coventry and will miss out.


Right-back Ryan Nyambe is continuing his rehabilitation after suffering a knee injury against Millwall in October. Winger Tawanda Chirewa (thigh) and David Ozoh (quad) both remain out of action as they continue their recovery programmes.

The Plymouth match was chosen as it is the closest home game in the calendar to Remembrance Sunday (Sunday 10th November) and Armistice Day (Monday 11th November).
