Six Derby County players from the first team and Academy set-ups joined up with their respective international squads for the November fixture period.

Here's a look at how the players got on with their countries.

Jacob Widell Zetterstrom - Sweden


Jacob Widell Zetterstrom was called up for his eighth senior squad and made up part of the goalkeeping department alongside Stoke City’s Viktor Johansson and AIK’s Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

The Rams’ 26-year-old shot-stopper was amongst the substitutes for Sweden’s UEFA Nations League fixtures against Slovakia (2-1 win) and Azerbaijan (6-0 win).

Ebou Adams - Gambia

Ebou Adams joined up with the Gambia squad for their Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying fixtures. The midfielder featured for the first half during a 2-1 defeat against Comoros and came on as a late substitute in a 1-0 win over Tunisia.

The side finished third in Group A, with Comoros and Tunisia securing qualification with 12 points and 10 points respectively. Gambia finished two points behind, with Madagascar at the bottom of the group.

Freddie Turley and Niall McAndrew - Republic of Ireland Under-19

Midfielder Freddie Turley captained the Republic of Ireland Under-19s through all three of their Under-19 UEFA EURO qualifying fixtures, while attacker Niall McAndrew twice came on as a second half substitute as the young Irish side secured two victories and a draw over the international break.

The Republic of Ireland Under-19s sit at the summit of qualifying Group 7 after earning seven points from three games, which sees them through to the elite round of the U19 EURO competition.

A goalless draw with Moldova on Wednesday 13th November set the foundation for two impressive wins. A 4-0 success over Azerbaijan on Saturday 16th November and a 2-1 triumph over Iceland on Tuesday 19th November saw both Rams players feature as they claimed the top spot.

Dan Cox and Cruz Allen - Wales Under-19

Defender Dan Cox and midfielder Cruz Allen joined up with the Wales Under-19 squad for their Group 5 UEFA EURO qualifying fixtures.

Cox captained the side for all three fixtures as Cymru Under-19s qualified for the elite round of the competition after finishing second in their group, with two wins and one loss. France sat at the top of the table, with a point splitting the sides.

Cox featured in all three matches, including a 1-0 win over Scotland on Wednesday 13th November.

Both Rams players featured in the last two games,Allen came off the bench in a narrow 2-1 defeat against France on Saturday 16th November and started as the side swept to victory against Liechtenstein on Tuesday 19th November, scoring five without reply.
