Derby County Under-21s striker Lennon Wheeldon has joined Boston United on a short-term loan deal.
The 18-year-old has linked up with the National League side for a deal that will run through until January 2025.
The Pilgrims will play the likes of Oldham Athletic, Ebbsfleet United and Alvechurch over the duration of his loan period.
Wheeldon has international experience too, after joining up with the England Under-19s side in October’s international break. He made three appearances and netted one goal for the Young Lions.
He has made four appearances for the Rams’ Under-21s in Premier League 2 this season, scoring three goals.
