Derby County Under-21s midfielder Alex Stepien-Iwumene has joined Eastleigh on a short-term loan deal.
The 19-year-old has linked up with the National League club for a two-month loan which will see the Spitfires play against the likes of Wealdstone, Ebbsfleet United, Maidenhead United and Yeovil.
Stepien-Iwumene has played seven games for Jake Buxton’s Under-21s side in Premier League 2 so far this season. He joined up with Derby in the summer of 2024 after a spell on the books of Southampton.
The loan deal with Eastleigh will be the attacking midfielder’s first experience of senior men’s football, as he rose from Sutton United’s Academy before joining the Saints Academy set-up in July 2023.
