Derby County Women have been handed a home tie in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup First Round against Leafield Athletic Ladies.

The Ewes, who play in the third tier, will line up against fourth-tier Division One Midlands side Leafield on Sunday 3rd November at the Don Amott Arena.

Leafield currently sit third in their league after seven games, with six wins and one loss to their name.

Sam Griffiths’ Derby will be hoping to put another cup run together after facing Women’s Super League Leicester City and bowing out in the Fourth Round of the competition last term.

They also went on to claim historic silverware in the 2023/24 FA Women’s National League Plate competition.

Derby are next in action away from home in the league when they travel to Yorkshire to face Hull City Ladies on Sunday 27th October (2pm kick-off).
