Paul Warne has provided an update on his Derby County squad ahead of facing Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship at The Den on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The October international break followed an impressive 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at Pride Park Stadium, which was achieved with several members of the first-team squad missing.
Callum Elder, Ben Osborn, David Ozoh, Sonny Bradley and Tawanda Chirewa were amongst the absentees due to injury and Warne discussed the fitness of his players when he spoke to RamsTV on Thursday morning.
He said: "Callum joined in training on Tuesday, so he needs some minutes.
"Ozzy has trained for a couple of days this week.
"With David, we were hopeful he would be available for this weekend - we’re not sure he will be but he’s really close."
The Rams’ Head Coach also spoke about returning trio Liam Thompson, Tom Barkhuizen and Jake Rooney, who built up their minutes with the Under-21s at Aldershot Town in the National League Cup earlier this week.
He added: "Tommo and Tom played 45 minutes, Jake played more but he still has a little way to go."
