Derby County midfielder Darren Robinson has returned from his loan spell with Hartlepool United.

The 19-year-old made six appearances during his spell with the National League outfit, featuring against former Sky Bet League Two sides Sutton United, Forest Green Rovers and Rochdale, as well as Dagenham and Redbridge, Woking and Wealdstone.

He also made four appearances for Northern Ireland’s Under-21s after being called up for the September and October international fixture periods while with the Pools.

Academy graduate Robinson joined the County Durham club on a loan deal that was set to run until January 2025. However, the Northern Ireland youth international has now returned to Derby, which was an option after the first 28 days of the loan.

The midfielder penned a new two-year deal in May 2024 that would see him remain with the club until the summer of 2026.
