Derby County will head to the Kassam Stadium for their clash with Oxford United in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night (7:45pm kick-off).

The fixture comes off the back of the Rams picking up their first point on the road in a 1-1 draw with Millwall on Saturday. Jerry Yates netted his first goal for the club in the draw against the Lions at The Den.

The result saw Paul Warne’s side remain 12th in the league standings with 13 points, while Tuesday night's opponents Oxford are level on points with Derby sitting one place above the Rams on goal difference.

The U’s also come into the fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion, their third draw in as many games with Portsmouth and Luton Town also sharing the spoils against Oxford in recent weeks.

Des Buckingham’s Oxford experienced promotion from League One via the play-offs last season, defeating Bolton Wanderers 2-0 at Wembley Stadium. Derby staged a fine 3-2 comeback victory at the Kassam Stadium in December 2023, while Oxford were 2-1 winners at Pride Park Stadium earlier in the campaign.

Team News

Midfielder Ben Osborn and defender Callum Elder returned to the bench at Millwall after injury, with Osborn entering the field of play in the 62nd minute.

Forward Tawanda Chirewa is still sidelined with a thigh injury while on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh is back in training but a doubt as he continues to recover sharpness on his return from a hamstring injury.

Defender Ryan Nyambe (knee) was forced off in the first half of the draw at Millwall at the weekend and will miss out.

Ticket Information

Derby's allocation of tickets for Tuesday's match at the Kassam Stadium has sold out.

Derby were handed an allocation of 1,497 tickets for the match and these have completely sold out.
