Derby County take on Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Tigers will provide the opposition as Derby look to claim their fifth win on home soil in the 2024/25 Championship campaign.

Paul Warne’s side will complete a busy three-game week against Hull and are looking to build on two 1-1 draws away from home by claiming maximum points.

Derby earned a point each from two 1-1 draws on the road as Jerry Yates’ first goal for the club against Millwall last Saturday and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing’s first strike of the season against Oxford United on Tuesday picked up the Rams’ first points on the road this term.

Tim Walter’s Hull City side sit in 15th spot, as the German coach has guided his charges to three wins and four draws from their opening 11 Championship games.

The Tigers also come into the fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw, played out against high-flying Burnley on home turf on Wednesday night.

Team News

Full-back Ryan Nyambe will be unavailable for selection and has been sidelined after sustaining a knee injury against Millwall last week. He will be out of action for between four and six months.

Midfielder David Ozoh will remain unavailable after suffering a quad injury this week. He was looking to make his comeback from a hamstring injury sustained against Cardiff City in September, but will now be sidelined for a little while longer.

Winger Tawanda Chirewa is also still sidelined with a thigh injury which he picked up earlier this month.
