Derby County Women will play Hashtag United in the First Round of the 2024/25 FA Women’s National League Cup.

The fixture will take place on Sunday 29th September at the Don Amott Arena (2pm kick-off).

Derby entered the hat for the First Round of the League Cup after a dramatic late turnaround against Loughborough Lightning in the Determining Round. A 91st-minute equaliser from Millie Jenkins and Charlotte Steggles’ extra-time goal saw Sam Griffiths’ team come away 2-1 winners at the Don Amott Arena.

Hashtag United play in the third tier, competing in the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division after being promoted to the level in the 2022/23 season. The teams have never met in a competitive fixture.

Griffiths’ side will be looking to impress in cup competition once again after they lifted the FA Women's National League Plate last season. After winning in the Determining Round, the Ewes will compete in the League Cup alongside teams from the third tier and below, including former Women’s Championship sides Lewes, Watford and London Bees.
