Derby County’s 2024/25 away kit is available to buy!

It was announced back in April that following an absence of just over 20 years, PUMA, one of the world’s most recognisable and leading sports brands, was to return as the club’s Official Kit & Training Wear Partner from the 2024/25 season.

The club was formed 140 years ago this year and is one of the founding members of the English Football League so, to celebrate the anniversary, the colours of the new season’s away kit draw directly from the first-known kit of the 1884 team.

They were described in the press of the day as ‘brown on one side and green on the other, with a connecting trimming of gold’. The shirt uses Founders’ Green colour from the club’s identity palette as the base for this reinvented classic.

The kit was revealed at the end of July through specially printed ‘The Daily Ram’ newspapers located in various areas of Derby pertinent to the club’s long and proud history.

The locations were:

The Old Bell – Where the club was officially formed in May 1884

Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s County Ground – Where Derby County played between 1884 and 1895

The site of the Baseball Ground – Where Derby County played between 1895 and 1997

The Ram Statue in Derby City Centre – A meeting point for many supporters ahead of matches and a symbol of our club and city

Pride Park Stadium – Derby County’s current home since 1997

The back of the away shirt features the wording ‘EST.1884’, and on the front of the kit will be the logo of FanHub, the club’s recently announced principal sponsor for the Men’s first-team.

The Men’s first-team squad’s playing kits will also display the logo of back of shirt and shorts sponsor HSG UK, as well as sleeve sponsor Tonic Weight Loss Surgery, during the season. Supporters wishing to add either of these two logos to their shirts can do so in-person at the DCFCMegastore ONLY *.
