Derby County will head to the north-west English coast for their Carabao Cup Round Two clash with Barrow on Tuesday night (7:45pm kick-off).
The Rams are looking to return to winning ways after Saturday’s 2-1 loss against Watford on the road in the Sky Bet Championship.
Paul Warne’s side qualified for the second stage of the Carabao Cup after seeing off League Two side Chesterfield 2-1 at Pride Park Stadium two weeks ago.
Barrow come into the cup tie on a high, sitting fourth in the table after netting four without reply against Port Vale on home turf on Saturday. They also defeated the Valiants in a 3-2 win to qualify for Round Two of the Carabao Cup earlier this month.
Team News
Derby’s latest signing Tawanda Chirewais available for selection after his loan signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers was announced on Monday.
Eiran Cashin is still out as the defender continues to follow concussion protocols after he was removed from the field of play in the team’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough recently.
Ben Osborn (calf) and Kane Wilson (hamstring)are both still recovering from short-term injuries while goalkeeper Josh Vickers could return to the squad after missing the 2-1 loss at Watford with a minor issue.
Jake Rooney (knee) and Corey Blackett-Taylor (quad) both remain sidelined after picking up injuries during pre-season.
