Derby County’s 2024/25 third kit has been revealed to complete the club’s trio of strips for the upcoming new campaign.

It was announced back in April of this year that following an absence of just over 20 years, PUMA, one of the world’s most recognisable and leading sports brands, was to return as the club’s Official Kit and Training Wear Partner from the 2024/25 season.

Derby’s new home kit was revealed by PUMA in June and quickly proved to be a hit with supporters to kick off the start of the partnership in style.

That was followed up by the unveiling of the away kit last month, which has taken inspiration from the club’s first known kit from 1884 and was worn in the pre-season friendly against Real Valladolid last weekend.

This year’s third kit is a golden shirt for a golden anniversary, with the 2024/25 campaign marking 50 years since Derby County lifted the First Division title trophy in 1974/75 under the late Dave Mackay.

To complement the golden shirt, a navy-blue trim has been added to the collar and cuffs, inspired directly from the club’s colour palette, with Victory Blue representing the achievements of the 1970s. During that time the Rams’ main colours were white and blue rather than the more traditional black and white.

The navy is also the main base for the shorts, and the kit is finished with gold socks with navy detailing.

The third kit was unveiled by members of the 1974/75 squad, Roger Davies, Roy McFarland and Colin Todd, along with two of the club’s Golden Rams, John Martin and Nora Sanders, who were there to see the trophy being lifted back in May 1975.

First-team players Ben Osborn, Jerry Yates and Eiran Cashin then got to model this year’s third kit and recognise the iconic achievements of the team that the kit it is celebrating.

The back of the third shirt features the wording ‘COYR’, and on the front of the kit will be the logo of FanHub, the club’s principal sponsor for the Men’s first team.

The third kit will also act as the away kit for Derby County Women during the 2024/25 season.

The Men’s first-team squad’s playing kits will also display the logo of back of shirt and shorts sponsor HSG UK, as well as sleeve sponsor Tonic Weight Loss Surgery, during the season. Supporters wishing to add either of these two logos to their shirts can do so in-person at the DCFCMegastore ONLY *.
