Goalkeeper Anna Draper has moved on after spending the 2023/24 season with Derby County Women.

The shot-stopper joined the Ewes on a dual-registration basis from Women’s Super League side Aston Villa last summer.

Draper was a regular between the posts throughout the season and part of Sam Griffiths’ squad that went on to lift the FA Women’s National League Plate in April.

After relocating for her placement year at University, Draper has understandably decided to move to a club closer to where she will be living owing to travel commitments.

She made 20 appearances for the Ewes in total in all competitions.

Draper leaves Derby County with everyone’s very best wishes for the future and thanks for her contribution both on and off the field.
