Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne has named a strong line-up for this evening’s pre-season friendly at local non-league side Matlock Town (7:45pm kick-off).
The vast majority of the Rams’ first team squad will take on the Gladiators with the match minutes to be spread right across the squad.
Summer signings Kayden Jackson, Jerry Yates and Kenzo Goudmijn will make their first appearances in a Derby shirt.
However, fellow new arrival Ben Osborn will not be involved having only just returning to training after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained at Sheffield United at the end of last season.
Joe Ward and Conor Washington are the other two players to not feature, but Jake Rooney, Craig Forsyth and Ryan Nyambe will feature after injury lay-offs which hampered their progress last term.
Under-21s duo Alex Stepien-Iwumene and Jack Thompson form part of the squad, while youngsters Darren Robinson and Dajaune Brown will get the chance to impress.
