Derby County are set for the penultimate clash of their pre-season games programme when they head to Sky Bet League One side Barnsley on Wednesday night (7:45pm kick-off).
The Rams faced off against the Tykes in last season’s League One promotion-winning campaign, with both sides winning on home turf.
Derby were 3-0 victors at Pride Park Stadium in November, with Barnsley winning 2-1 at Oakwell in February.
Barnsley, now under the management of Darrell Clarke, will prove another valuable workout for Paul Warne's side ahead of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season.

pre-season friendly with Barnsley, with Sonny Bradley, Dajaune Brown and Tyrese Fornah upping their workload after sitting out Saturday's friendly at Shrewsbury Town.
Right sider Joe Ward got his first run-out of pre-season with 45 minutes against Shrewsbury on Saturday after recovering from injury. Similarly, striker Conor Washington returned to the fray, with 20 minutes off the bench, after completing his rehabilitation.
Defender Jake Rooney continues to be unavailable for selection after suffering a knee injury during the Rams’ Spanish training camp a fortnight ago.

Pre-Match Thoughts
First Team Coach Matt Hamshaw spoke with RamsTV to discuss ramping up the intensity ahead of the final away trip of Derby’s pre-season programme.
