Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne believes Saturday's Sky Bet League One opponents Leyton Orient have the ability to pose 'a lot of threats'.
The O's are the visitors to Pride Park Stadium on Saturday and Richie Wellens' side are sat safely in mid-table, but Warne thinks the lesser pressure on Orient could make them even more dangerous and knows his side will have to be at their very best.
Speaking to RamsTV on Friday, the Head Coach reflected on Wednesday evening's 0-0 draw at Wycombe Wanderers and looked ahead to the clash with the O's.
Reflections on the draw at Wycombe and looking ahead to the final three games of the season...
As the season gets closer to the end, you just have to focus on the next one. We had opportunities to score at Wycombe and didn't. We lost our way in the second half. The coolest cucumber wins, really, so we just have to try and remain cool. Nobody knows how many points we are going to need and although it sounds ridiculous, we could need no more. It's out of our hands but we've got a lot of points in the bank, a lot of things to be pleased about and we just have to move on to the next one.
On whether the mindset has changed after Wednesday...
Not from my point of view. You can only look after your own games. We've got three matches to try and be at our best. If we are at our best, and we win all three, then we give ourselves a really good chance. If we're not, then we go into the play-offs in really good form. My mindset doesn't change. Pressure hits people in different ways. The only disappointment for me this season is that when we've had an opportunity to stamp a bit of authority at the top end, we haven't taken it. Generally speaking, we've done well.
On if he believes the pressure has affected anyone...
At Wycombe the other night a couple of the players tried really hard to help and that's the best way to put it. It's hard to be critical of someone trying really hard. It's easy to be critical of someone not trying hard enough, but we probably tried a bit too hard and it overspilled.
On Leyton Orient...
Richie Wellens' teams always want to play football. They are a young, athletic side and they will want to play and win at Pride Park. They don't really have anything to play for, but they are professional footballers that want to win a football match and they come here with no pressure, apart from the pressure they put on themselves. I know they will cause a lot of threats because they move the ball really well and they rotate a lot in midfield. Some of their players have had really good seasons.
On the squad's fitness...
We don't have any injuries. I have a couple on the cusp of returning. Sonny Bradley is back after suspension and Tom Barkhuizen is a bit fitter.
