Derby County set a new club record for away wins in a single league campaign on Saturday.
Derby were 1-0 winners at Cambridge United in Sky Bet League One thanks to a first half goal from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.
The previous record was 12, set in the 2004/05 and 2006/07 campaigns respectively, and Warne’s side equalled that return in March with a comprehensive 3-0 success at Bristol Rovers.

Derby claimed their first away win of the campaign at the first time of asking back in August, having failed to win or score in their opening four away fixtures of the 2022/23 season.
The Rams got off to a flying start when striker James Collins headed home a free-kick after just seven minutes in their shortest away trip of the campaign.
Derby had to wait until the latter stages to confirm the win with skipper Conor Hourihane scoring a fine second before Conor Washington came off the bench to score his first Rams goal to round off the scoring.
Peterborough United 2-4 Derby County

Derby went goal-crazy in a stunning first half at the Weston Homes Stadium to come from a goal down to lead 4-1 at the interval.
Jonson Clarke-Harris put the hosts ahead midway through the first half, but a superb Martyn Waghorn hat-trick and a headed effort from Eiran Cashin had the Rams in complete control at the break.
Kwame Poku pulled a late goal back for Peterborough, but it was nothing more than a consolation on a stunning afternoon for Paul Warne’s side.
Carlisle United 0-2 Derby County

James Collins hit a double as Derby claimed their third away win of the season at Brunton Park against Carlisle United.
Collins blasted the Rams ahead after 18 minutes from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing’s cross, before he lashed home a late penalty after being brought down in the penalty area.
It proved to be an emotional day for Paul Warne’s side, who proudly held goalkeeper Josh Vickers’ shirt at the final whistle and posed for a team picture to show their support following the sad passing of his wife, Laura, a few days beforehand.
Blackpool 1-3 Derby County

Derby claimed an impressive victory on the road at Blackpool at the start of October, with all the goals coming in the second half at Bloomfield Road.
Korey Smith’s first goal in a Rams shirt got the ball rolling nine minutes after half-time, which was then followed up by a composed James Collins finish with just under 20 minutes left.
Kenny Dougall pulled a goal back for Blackpool, but Martyn Waghorn tapped home the Rams’ third on the breakaway in the final minute to round off an impressive evening’s work.
Port Vale 0-1 Derby County

Derby ground out a hard-fought victory at Vale Park against Port Vale for the second successive season.
Striker Tyreece John-Jules scored the only goal of the game after 77 minutes, just moments after coming off the bench, to earn the Rams all three points.
John-Jules’ goal came with his first touch after being introduced into the action, the perfect way for the on-loan Arsenal striker to announce his comeback from injury.
Leyton Orient 0-3 Derby County

Derby made it five wins on the spin in League One with a comfortable and convincing success at Leyton Orient.
Louie Sibley’s low drive put Derby ahead just after the half-hour mark and the hosts went on to have Brandon Cooper sent off for a high challenge on striker James Collins just before half-time.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing slotted home the Rams’ second after the break before he set up substitute Tom Barkhuizen to tap home with ten minutes remaining to confirm the win.
Wigan Athletic 0-1 Derby County

Derby showed two sides to their game as they claimed a gritty 1-0 victory at Wigan Athletic over the festive period.
The annual Boxing Day clash saw the Rams fly out of the traps and deservedly take the lead after 19 minutes courtesy of defender Curtis Nelson’s header.
Derby found themselves under pressure in the second half and they had to defend resolutely to get the job done and pick up all three points.
Oxford United 2-3 Derby County

Derby produced one of their best away performances of the season to pick up all three points in their final game of 2023 - but it didn’t start positively.
Cameron Brannagan’s penalty after two minutes and stunning free-kick with 12 on the clock left Paul Warne’s side with plenty to do, but Craig Forsyth’s goal late in the first half provided some hope.
Derby dominated in the second half and substitute Liam Thompson headed in an 81st minute equaliser before defender Eiran Cashin completed the comeback in the closing minutes.
Fleetwood Town 1-3 Derby County

Derby’s first away win of 2024 also came at the first attempt as they produced a professional display at Fleetwood Town.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing’s cool finish and James Collins’ header had Derby 2-0 to the good at half-time at Highbury Stadium.
Jayden Stockley set up a tense ending by pulling a goal back with a looping header for the Cod Army, but Tom Barkhuizen tapped home the Rams’ third in the final moments to kill off any hopes of a dramatic fightback.

Derby were once again at their resolute best as they recorded a hard-fought victory in the capital at Charlton Athletic.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored the game’s only goal midway through the first half, keeping his cool to fire home after spending a significant period of time off the field receiving treatment for a foot injury.
Derby soaked up spells of pressure from the Addicks but dealt with everything thrown at them to record another win on their travels.

Derby’s long trip to Devon proved to be a fruitful one as they breezed past Exeter City at St James Park.
Midfielder Max Bird’s long-range strike had the Rams a goal to the good at the break against an in-form Exeter outfit.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Tom Barkhuizen scored either side of the hour mark to wrap up a convincing away day triumph for Paul Warne’s side.

Derby struck three times in the second half to equal a club record 12 away wins in a season at Bristol Rovers’ Memorial Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Derby took control of the contest when Dwight Gayle bundled the ball home from close range shortly after half-time.
Tom Barkhuizen thrashed home the Rams’ second before Martyn Waghorn tapped home Derby’s third late on.

Derby’s final away fixture of the league campaign saw them pick up a crucial win and leave them needing a point to secure automatic promotion back to the Championship.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing celebrated his 100th appearance in Rams colours with the only goal of the game, racing onto Louie Sibley’s excellent through-ball to round the goalkeeper and find the back of the net.
Cambridge threw everything at Derby in the second half but as a defensive unit the players stood tall to pick up a fine three points and set a new club record.
