Derby County defender Eiran Cashin says he was 'buzzing' with the late 3-2 home win over Burton Albion on Monday night - despite making a little hard for themselves in the second half.
Tom Barkhuizen and James Collins put the Rams two goals up before the Brewers pegged the game back to 2-2 midway through the second period.
However, captain Conor Hourihane scored deep into stoppage time to secure a big three points for Paul Warne's side in Sky Bet League One.
Speaking to RamsTV after the game, defender Cashin gave his verdict on the result and performance.
On the result...
We made it a little bit hard for ourselves but Conor did what he does best. He's been doing that for years, it was a great finish from him. The feeling in the dressing room is great right now, it feels better when it's late on but hopefully we don't keep leaving it until last minute!
On that quality being a reason why Hourihane was voted captain...
It's not just the stuff off the pitch, he's got the quality on the pitch. How many years has he been doing that? I'm just buzzing we got the win. I think if it would have ended up a draw it would have felt like a loss. We didn't make it easy for ourselves, but I'm buzzing to win.
On Burton bringing it back to 2-2...
I think we maybe got a little complacent. We're a point off top spot now but we can still get better and that shows the levels and standards we aspire to get to. We got a bit sloppy and had a bit of a wobble, but that's what good teams do; you win when you're maybe not playing at 100% or have a bit of a tough spell.
On finding the winning goal...
We stayed calm, we stayed patient and kept moving the ball quickly and sustaining attacks. We believed they would make a mistake or something would fall for us and it did, it was a great finish for Conor.
