The PUMA Orbita 1 Hi Vis Sky Bet EFL match balls will return to
action this weekend, with the vibrant, yellow-based match ball to be in
play for all EFL League and EFL Trophy matches from Thursday 2nd November
until mid-February 2024.
This is the first season since the 2018/19 season where the match balls will be used for all matches during this ‘winter’ period, instead of just for matches that are determined to feature low visibility or extreme weather conditions.
The high frequency moulded ball provides outstanding shape retention, durability and reduced water absorption to maximise performance.
The ball has been crafted with 12 panels which have a 3D textured 1.2mm PU surface to enhance aerodynamics and control, as well as reduced water absorption.
The rubber bladder works alongside the PAL (Puma Air Lock) valve for perfect air retention.
The ball is FIFA Quality Pro certified which means the ball is suitable for elite use.
