Derby County will start their 2023/24 Emirates FA Cup journey on Sunday when they travel to Sky Bet League Two side Crewe Alexandra in the First Round of the competition (2:45pm kick-off).
The Rams closed out October with a convincing 4-0 home win over Northampton Town in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday night and will be hoping to kick November off in similar fashion.
In the lead-up to the cup tie getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know...
Rams Team News
Defender Eiran Cashin is available for selection once again after missing the 4-0 home win over Northampton Town in midweek due to suspension for collecting five yellow cards in the league.
Defender Callum Elder (hernia) is closing in on a return to action after over a month out but Sunday may come too soon for the Australian.
On-loan Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules (quad) is back on the grass stepping up his workload after being out of action since mid-September but won't be involved on Sunday.
Midfielder Liam Thompson (quad) is progressing well in his recovery after two months out of action but is still a few weeks away from a return to training.
Defender Jake Rooney (knee) recently underwent surgery on his damaged ACL and will be out of action for a lengthy period of time.
On loan Sunderland midfielder Elliot Embleton has returned to his parent club after injuring his quad in training during September and, after undergoing surgery, is to be out of action for several months.
Pre-Match Thoughts
Head Coach Paul Warne spoke to RamsTV to preview Sunday's cup clash.
He said: "I'm not naive enough to sit here and think we are going to win the FA Cup,
but I just think a good run is a positive thing.
"It's a good way to let other people play to a certain extent because we will go really strong with our side."
Defender Sonny Bradley previewed the trip to Crewe when he spoke to RamsTV on Friday morning.
He said: "For me as a player, and I think I speak for all the lads, the FA Cup is still a wonderful competition and our only real chance now for this season to come up against a top club in the country.
"I've played in some good FA Cup fixtures in the past, so we want to win, we want to go into this game positive and we've got a job to do."
Ticket Information
Tickets for Sunday's match are now off sale and the option to purchase tickets on the day is NOT available.
Derby were handed a total allocation of just over 2,300 tickets for the cup tie and sales concluded at 4pm on Friday with the majority of seats snapped up.
Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the trip to Crewe, as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.
Match Officials
Scott Oldham will take charge of Sunday's match.
Richard Woodward and Karl Buckley will assist him whilst Darren Drysdale will be on Fourth Official duties.
Oldham has officiated 12 games so far this season including Derby's Sky Bet League One opener against Wigan Athletic back in August.
He's distributed 43 yellow cards, one red card and awarded one penalty.
FA Cup Format
In rounds up to and including the Fourth Round, fixtures resulting in a draw over the course of 90 minutes will go to a replay at the away side.
If the replay once again ends in a draw after 90 minutes, extra-time will be played and then if necessary, a penalty shoot-out.
Since 2016/17, ties have been settled on the day from the Quarter-Finals onwards with the use of extra-time and penalties.
From 2018/19, any tie from the Fifth Round onwards is now also settled by the use of extra-time and penalties rather than a replay.
FA Cup Substitute Rules
In the FA Cup, each club is permitted to name up to nine substitutes on their team sheet, of whom not more than five may take part in the cup tie.
Each club is only permitted a maximum of three opportunities to make substitutions during the game, although clubs may make substitutions at half time and any that are made will not count towards the maximum of three opportunities.
