Derby County will face fellow Sky Bet League One side Fleetwood Town at Pride Park Stadium next month in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Round of 32.
The draw for the first knockout round of this season’s competition took place on Friday evening.
Derby finished top of Northern Section - Group G after claiming three wins from three.
They started this season’s competition off with a 2-0 home win over fellow Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City in September, before registering a 2-1 success at League Two promotion chasers Notts County during October.
Paul Warne’s side then defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21s 4-1 on home turf earlier this month with striker James Collins bagging a hat-trick.
Derby will now face Fleetwood on home territory as they look to progress to the last 16 of the competition.
Bristol Street Motors Trophy Round of 32 ties are to take place week commencing Monday 4th December 2023 and a match date and ticket details will be communicated to supporters in due course.
