Defender Craig Forsyth says Derby County's players still 'expect better' - despite being seven games unbeaten in all competitions.

The Rams return to Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon following the international break with a trip to Shrewsbury Town and do so after completing the last block of fixtures without defeat.

Forsyth sat down with RamsTV to preview the trip to Shrewsbury and look back on the Rams' form in recent weeks.

On the international break...

Age is catching up with me! It was good to have a few days off and let the body recover from what has been a tough period.

On prepping for things differently at his age...

I've never sort of said I need an extra day off or anything like that, but you definitely notice it more after games now and the body takes a little longer to recover.

On playing at left-back again at being at centre-back last season...

Callum Elder was injured for the first game of the season against Wigan and the gaffer asked me to play at left-back. It's kind of evolved from that, really. It's something that isn't new to me so I'm quite happy to play there. That's possibly why it's taking the legs a little longer to recover! The gaffer knows that I'll give it my all I've got wherever I play.

On the seven-game unbeaten run...

There is a slight sense of disappointment in there because of the points we've collected; we should have collected more. Everyone is saying the same thing. We all expect better, we should be taking chances and keeping clean sheets, so we're all on the same page.

On the home form up against the away form...

Away from home, it's possible that teams try and bring the game to us more and we can show our quality on the counter-attack whereas at home, we need to kill teams off when we are on top. Once we get that goal and get in front, then the game changes.
