Derby County youngster Dajaune Brown has signed his first professional contract.
Brown, who is 17, has progressed through the ranks in the Academy in recent years and began his scholarship last summer.
The striker has signed a three-year professional deal which will run until the summer of 2026.
The 2022/23 season proved to be a positive one for Brown as he netted nine goals in nine games for the Under-18s in Premier League North, although he did miss the first half of the season due to injury.
He also featured for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 - Division 2 and scored once in three league appearances, while he also impressed in a handful of Premier League Cup appearances and scored in a 3-0 home win over AFC Bournemouth.
Brown also impressed whilst training with the first team squad and was named on the bench for the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie at home to Premier League side West Ham United in January of this year.
He also featured in first team squad over the course of pre-season ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 season and, as well as playing in several matches, he travelled with Paul Warne’s squad for their week-long training camp in Spain.
