Derby County’s Under-21s are back on the road in Premier League 2 - Division 2 on Monday night when they head to Leeds United.

The Under-21s will face Leeds at the home of York City FC, the York Community Stadium, (7pm kick-off) and dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you will need to know ahead of the game.

Team News...

Defender Max Bardell is back in training after suffering a hamstring injury earlier this year and could return to the fold.

Striker Bartosz Cybulski has returned from his three-month loan spell at National League side Solihull Moors and is expected to feature, while defender Demico Burton (Stourbridge) midfielder Connor Dixon (Ilkeston Town) and forwards Sonny Blu Lo-Everton (Wealdstone) and George Nunn (Mickleover FC) are out on loan gaining first-team match experience.

January signings Kido Taylor-Hart, Billy Vigar and Owen Oseni are expected to feature once again after forcing their way into Pat Lyons' matchday squads in recent weeks.

The Season So Far...

The Under-21s ended their long wait for their first point of the season last time out in Premier League 2 - Division 2 with a 1-1 draw at Sunderland a fortnight ago, with winger Sonny Blu Lo-Everton scoring a dramatic late equaliser in the North East.

The draw ended the Under-21s' run of 12 straight losses in the league this term, with Pat Lyons having a young and inexperienced squad to select from, and they are now eight points adrift of Stoke City in 10th place with two games in hand.

Outside of the league, the Under-21s have enjoyed success in cup competitions this term and reached the last 16 of the Premier League Cup before tasting defeat to local rivals Nottingham Forest earlier this month, while their penalty shoot-out win over Alfreton Town last week, following a thrilling 5-5 draw, secured their spot in the Semi-Finals of the Derbyshire Senior County Cup.
