Derby County are back on the road and back in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday when they travel to the Kassam Stadium to take on Oxford United (3pm kick-off).

The U's are currently managerless having parted ways with Karl Robinson at the end of February.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know…

Team News

Vice-captain Max Bird (groin) returned to full training this week and will come into contention for the trip to Oxford United.

Defender James Chester has returned to training after a calf injury and is building up his fitness after a long spell on the sidelines.

Warne's Words

Derby's Head Coach Paul Warne sat down with RamsTV on Friday afternoon ahead of the trip to the Kassam Stadium.

He said: "When a new manager comes in, the ones that thought they were safe all of a sudden think they won't be playing every week and the ones that come on as substitutes think it's their chance to shine.

"Another thing a new manager brings is that it gives the stadium a right boost. Everybody has their enthusiasm back, everything resets and that is the problem that you have when facing a new manager. Not only tactically will they change it but what you are sure of is that the crowd will be up for it a lot more and the players are just a little bit more incentivised."

From The Dressing Room

Sky Bet League One's Player of the Month David McGoldrick spoke to RamsTV to discuss the Rams' recent form.

He said: "We were on such a good run and winning games, that wasn't going to last forever. We were going to have a little sticky spell and we've been in that the last couple of games but we've got the players and the staff to get us out of that. We're not even thinking that we're in a slum. We've just got to stick to our basics and go back to being hard to beat starting on Saturday at Oxford."

Ticket Information

Derby were allocated 1,497 tickets for the match and these completely sold out last month.

Fans without a ticket are advised not to travel to Oxford as they will not be able to access the stadium.
