Derby County return to Sky Bet League One action on Saturday when Fleetwood Town are the visitors to Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).

The Rams go into the match on the back of an important three points away at Oxford United last time out, running out 3-2 winners, and will be looking to build on that with another positive performance on home turf.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know…

Team News

Striker David McGoldrick (hip) will be assessed ahead of Saturday's match with Fleetwood after missing the 3-2 victory at Oxford United last weekend.

Midfielder Jason Knight (ankle) also sat out the win at Oxford but he has now returned to full training.

Warne's Words

Head Coach Paul Warne spoke to RamsTV to preview Saturday's test against Fleetwood.

He said: "On their day, Fleetwood can beat anyone - but as can we. Teams come here trying to win but trying not to lose - I think that's the nicest way I can put it but I do know that Fleetwood will ask a lot of questions of us.

"We need to concentrate on what we can do but we always have to have an awareness of what they can do. I know it will be a tough game and I appreciate the game earlier in the season before we joined the club was 0-0 at their place, so every game in this league is tough."

From The Dressing Room

Following his first league start for the Rams at Oxford last Saturday, on-loan Norwich City winger Tony Springett sat down with RamsTV to reflect on the last week.

He said: "First of all, I was very happy to get my first start. I've been here since January now and I feel like that's kind of what I was working towards. My opportunity finally came against Oxford and I was happy with my performance in the game.

"It was one of those games where the pitch was difficult and we just had to match them or be better. If we didn't do that then the result could have gone the other way.

"I feel like the togetherness of the team overall on the day was so much better. We outworked them, dug deep and it was a good weekend in the end."

Match Officials

Sebastian Stockbridge is the man in charge of Saturday's game between Derby and Fleetwood.

Bradley Hall and Andrew Laver will assist him whilst Martin Woods is on fourth official duties.

Stockbridge has been the man in the middle for 27 games so far this season and during that time distributed 76 yellow cards, three reds and awarded six penalties.
