Derby County Community Trust have shared details about upcoming activity in Harrison’s Hub at the Community Corner at Pride Park Stadium, which will be accessible as part of Derby City Council’s ‘Warm Spaces’ initiative and backed by funds raised through the 1884 Wall.

Community Meals

Every week the Community Trust provide a hot meal to community members in a warm and welcome space. This includes working with Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance, schools and other community organisations.

To register your interest in attending one of the Community Trust’s community meals, please click here.

Please Note: Most meals will be delivered in partnership with other charities and schools, so the dates open to register general interest are currently 12th January, 7th February and 7th March.

These community meals are being funded through proceeds from the 1884 Wall, where you can purchase your space to support the initiative until 9th January.

These sessions will join Derby County Community Trust’s existing sessions which are taking place in Harrison’s Hub, which range from Team Talk – their men’s mental health programme, to Extra Time Hub, their over-55s social coffee mornings.

The Rams Family Support project also incorporates the Rams Family Fund, which has distributed almost 2,000 match tickets to fans who would be otherwise unable to attend games since last year.

The next Family Fund fixture is the Charlton Athletic game, taking place on Saturday 18th February (3pm kick-off). Donations to and applications for the fund can be made here.

Harrison’s Hub will also be hosting Writing East Midlands’ ‘We. Are. Derby’ open sessions throughout January and February. The project is aiming to seeking out, explore and celebrate the stories and memories which give Derby County Football Club its proud identity, and rich history. Find out more and book on to their sessions here.
