Midfielder Jason Knight is enjoying his run back in the first-team and is hoping Derby County can keep their impressive unbeaten run going when they face Port Vale in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday evening (7:45pm kick-off).
Knight is under no illusions about how tough that task will be, though, when they face a Valiants side who have already managed to beat the Rams once already in this campaign after claiming a 2-1 win at Pride Park Stadium in October.
Speaking to RamsTV ahead of Tuesday evening's fixture, Knight discussed life since being back in the eleven after injury, the unbeaten run and the trip to Port Vale.
On his run back in the team...
I'm feeling good and trying to take every game as it comes. I had that little injury in October which rocked me a little but I've been back in for six weeks or so now and feel I have done well and we're still unbeaten, so it's just about keeping that consistency going.
On Paul Warne...
He's really good with me. Ever since he has come in we've got on really well. We probably see the game the same way for the most part so it's been a good start and hopefully it can continue for the rest of the season.
I think he's made everyone fitter and we all know the demands he puts on the team. If you want to play you've got to run really hard and that's what everyone is doing at the moment.
On the secret behind the run...
Confidence is key in any season. You see teams go through dips but consistency is key and we need to keep that going. Confidence breeds results and results breed more confidence so it's important we keep that going on Tuesday.
On reflection on the right-back spell...
It's another thing I can add to my game, another string to my bow. I do obviously like it more in midfield as I get to get around the pitch a bit more but it's something I enjoyed and I thought I did quite well at the time, so it's something I can look back on with fond memories.
On how to keep the unbeaten run going...
I think it's just about doing the basics right. We're getting that ground into us every day and more often than not the result will take care of itself, so that's what we're trying to do.
On Port Vale...
It's going to be a tough game. We saw when we played them at home that they are a tough side to play against. They've come up from League Two and done really well this season so it's going to be a test and hopefully we can get a good result.
