Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne was delighted with his side's performance as they progressed into the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup thanks to a 3-0 win over fellow Sky Bet League One side Barnsley.

Goals from James Collins, Tom Barkhuizen and Jason Knight saw the Rams cruise past the Reds and into the Fourth Round draw.

Speaking to RamsTV after the cup tie, Warne spoke of his glee at his team's 'majestic' display at Pride Park Stadium.

On the performance...

I'm really pleased. I didn't think we started very well, we looked a little complacent which was a good warning for the lads that you can never be complacent in any game.

As the game progressed I thought we got better and at half-time we asked them to keep the intensity and I thought in the second half we were pretty majestic. We could have scored a lot of goals.

I want the lads to play with a real purpose - I know it's hard playing for us physically but we play with a real pace and try and get in behind teams and we're hard to play against. If you're going to be successful you have to be hard to play against with and without the ball and I thought aside from the first 15 minutes we were pretty exemplary on both.

On keeping a strong side for the game...

We just want to win football matches, it doesn't matter what it's in we want to win and momentum is key. The lads are in a good place and they are physically better.

I want to make a memory. I watched Sheffield Wednesday play Newcastle United last night and it would be great if we could get a tie like that here. It was rocking.

You've just got to try and win as many games as you can and their efforts were really good.

On Richard Stearman and Curtis Davies coming on...

I wanted to put Stears and Curtis on because they are senior professionals and Curtis is the captain. I want them to play because I don't know if they'll have to play next week.

We had five substitutes today and I want everyone to feel a part of it, everyone to feel like they are pulling in the same direction; all the fans, all the players and all the staff. It takes everyone within the training camp and the stadium to get success so I wanted to get as many people on the pitch as I could.

On David McGoldrick and Korey Smith's injuries...

Neither are two serious. Didzy tweaked his groin a little bit and I wouldn't take a risk like I wouldn't take a risk with James Collins last week.

Korey tweaked his lower back/glute. If we'd have done a fitness test today he probably would have been OK to play but again I didn't want to risk it.

Apart from the first 15 minutes, I thought Jake Rooney was very good.
