Derby County's Korey Smith says the Rams have got to start hunting the teams down that currently sit above them in Sky Bet League One.
The Rams are just one point and one place outside of the play-off places going into Saturday's clash with Burton Albion (2pm kick-off) at the Pirelli Stadium and know a win will almost certainly take them into the top six.
Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the meeting with the Brewers, Smith spoke of his extended run in the side, playing at right-back and much more.
On making right-back a permanent position...
I'm on nearly 500 games in my career so I don't know if I have to equal that out to be classed as a defender! The gaffer has asked me to play there and I'm just trying to do the best I can for however long I'm asked to.
On the challenges of a new position...
It's a completely different role. The game is in front of you and there's not as many battles and winning second-balls like in the middle of the park. I'm enjoying it though, it's something different and now I'm celebrating clean-sheets like the rest of the back four .
I'm getting older, I'm 31 now and it's good to have another position in my locker and I'm comfortable playing there.
On taking more pleasure in clean-sheets...
As a team, keeping a clean-sheet is great but as a goalkeeper and a back four it's always a bigger thing so the last few games I've definitely got more into that mindset. I'm enjoying it and I'm just grateful to be on the pitch more than anything.
On the recent ten match unbeaten run...
Everyone knows the gaffer's teams are tough to play against. It's something he's tried to install in us, we've got a lot of work to do still but there's definitely been an improvement.
Any team that wants to go and do something has to start with a solid foundation that if you don't concede, you've always got a chance to win games.
On not scoring for a few years...
Everyone wants to score goals but I've always been a bit of a team player. I've always played in the defensive-midfield role and my job has been to make tackles and get the ball out to the flair players. I've never really worried about scoring as long as my team is winning but on the flip-side my son isn't happy and wants me to score!
If I could get one that would be brilliant for myself, for the club and of course for my sons.
On the importance of having his kids watching him play...
You try and show them little things you've done in the past but I want them to be there whilst it's happening and understand it.
They were very young when I last won anything so it's much better for them to be at the age where they can remember.
I want to be something for them to look up to and make them proud and that's what life is all about really.
On Burton Albion...
The fact it's a local derby is going to make the game even tougher. They work hard and have a lot of big and powerful players up the pitch - we've done a lot of work on them this week.
We've got to be up for it, keep working hard and stay together. The fans can see we are moving in the right direction and we've got to start hunting people down - that's our aim.
