Derby County have successfully won an appeal against the red card handed to central defender Eiran Cashin in Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup First Round tie at Torquay United.
Cashin was dismissed in the 55th minute of the game for what was deemed to be denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
However, the club appealed against the decision and the Football Association has confirmed that the punishment against the Academy graduate has been withdrawn.
Cashin will now be available for selection for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup Round Three tie at Premier League side Liverpool (8pm kick-off).
The defender will still, however, miss Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture at MK Dons after receiving five yellow cards so far this season.
