Derby County will travel to Premier League side Liverpool in Round Three of the 2022/23 Carabao Cup.
The draw took place on Wednesday evening following the conclusion of all the Round Two ties and handed the Rams a trip to Anfield to face the holders of the competition following their penalty shoot-out win over Chelsea at Wembley Stadium back in February.
Derby will compete in Round Three of the competition for the first time since the 2018/19 campaign following their Round Two victory over Championship side West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night.
Liam Rosenior’s side were 1-0 winners over the Baggies courtesy of Louie Sibley’s first-half strike, which followed the 2-1 success at League Two outfit Mansfield Town in Round One two weeks ago.
All Round Three ties will take place during the week commencing 7th November 2022 and a confirmed match date, along with ticket information, will be announced as soon as possible.
