Manager Wayne Rooney has made four changes to his side for this afternoon’s final game of the 2021/22 season against Cardiff City (12:30pm kick-off).
The Rams conclude their campaign in front of a crowd expected to be in excess of 30,000 at Pride Park Stadium as they aim to finish the season strongly.
Rooney has made a quartet of changes from the 2-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road for the game against Steve Morison’s side.
Malcolm Ebiowei and Eiran Cashin both netted their first professional goals in the away success last week and both have retained their place in the starting line-up.
Elsewhere, Tom Lawrence returns to the side after serving his two-match suspension following his dismissal against Queens Park Rangers, whilst Ryan Allsop returns in goal in place of Kelle Roos who reverts back to the substitute’s bench.
Louie Sibley, who made an impact from the bench at Blackpool by assisting Ebiowei’s opening goal against the Seasiders, returns to the side, as does Liam Thompson. Striker Luke Plange and midfielder Louie Watson switch to the bench.
Following today's game, Rooney, his first-team backroom staff and playing squad will be conducting a lap of appreciation immediately after the game, so supporters should remain in their seats as the players would like to thank them for their tremendous support this season.
