The Season So Far...
Derby's Under-23s have played 18 games so far this term in Premier League 2 - Division 1 and have registered four wins, two draws and 12 defeats.
Their last outing saw them fall to a 2-0 home loss against Everton on Monday evening at Loughborough University Stadium.
They are five points away from safety, after a strong run of form towards the end of 2021 to bring them into contention of getting out of the bottom two, while they have a game in hand which could see them narrow the gap on those above them.
However, they have drawn one and lost four in their league outings in 2022.
Manchester United are sixth in the table with eight wins, five draws and six losses from their 19 matches to date.
The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Loughborough University Stadium back in November.
Derby took the lead five minutes into the second half as striker
Bartosz Cybulski found the net from close range to round off a slick
attacking move. United hit back to equalise through
Charlie McNeil with 70 minutes played to earn the visitors a share of
the spoils.
