Manager Wayne Rooney has made three changes to the side which suffered their first home defeat in six games on Wednesday against Millwall for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Luton Town (3pm kick-off).
The Rams travel to Kenilworth Road looking for their third away victory of the campaign but will face a tough test against Nathan Jones’ side who are vying for a place in the Championship’s play-off places.
Rooney has chosen a more experienced line up with Colin Kazim-Richards starting his first game since suffering a calf injury at the end of January.
The striker made his return to action in the second half on Wednesday night and produced the cross which forced Jake Cooper to put through his own goal as the Rams were beaten 2-1 at Pride Park Stadium.
There is also a start for Jamaican international midfielder Ravel Morrison who also appeared as a second-half substitute against the Lions.
The midfielder has been handed his first start since the Emirates FA Cup Third Round defeat against Coventry City at the start of January.
Elsewhere, Craig Forsyth comes back into the side as young trio Louie Sibley, Festy Ebosele and Luke Plange all revert to the substitute’s bench.
Curtis Davies, facing his former club, continues to skipper the Rams in the absence of Tom Lawrence who serves the second of his three-match suspension.
